Vinessa Williams – Little Leaders Learning Center

Vinessa Williams was born on October 6th, 1995 in Cambridge, MD to parents, Daisey and Frankco Batson. She spent her first few years of her childhood in the town of Laurel, DE before her family eventually relocated to Delmar, DE, where she attended both Middle and High School. After Vinessa’s Sophomore year, her family once again relocated to Wicomico County. It was there that she truly established herself as an impactful member of her community after graduating from Wicomico High School. At the age of 21, Vinessa had already began her pursuit into entrepreneurship by opening her first daycare center in Salisbury, MD. That center would eventually become her stepping stone to opening the largest center in Salisbury, MD when, just a year later, she opened (name of daycare center), accommodating 112 children and employing 25 early childcare teachers.

Vinessa expresses her success is driven off of hard work, dedication, honesty, and most importantly being a faithful tithe payer. She credits her parents for always being her biggest supporters in life, encouraging her to stay steadfast in her decisions no matter how big or small and always pushing her to strive for new heights. Vinessa says her most important role in life is being a mother to her two sons, Carter Scott and Colson Scott, and setting the foundation for a successful future for them. Her future plans include pursuing several degrees up to a PhD in Education, expanding her center and launching a nonprofit charity for children in her community. Vinessa lives by the motto that her father has always instilled in her: “plan your work, work your plan.”
